Practice

ambigram architects is an architecture and interior design studio founded by Andries Kruger and Justo Garcia as a collaborative research and innovative design-led practice that celebrates craftsmanship, product & interior design, architecture and master planning.

The studio is a direct embodiment of Andries and Justo’s passion for design and attention to detail with a motivated vision to improve our future collectively. ambigram's philosophy is rooted in the belief that architecture has a fundamental role in shaping how we experience our environment and how we can continuously improve our future world step by step. Our open-plan office environment is made up of a team of like-minded individuals that are helping to drive the design studio forward with a mutual desire to do well and create a better quality of life for all through design.

Founded in 2014, our office brings together skills in innovative-led research, creative architecture, urban design strategies and site-specific place making. We bring a detailed understanding of how we design buildings so that can be enhanced by inventive, engaging and collaborative thought processes to create an all-inclusive result.

We are a vibrant, design focused, architecture and interior design studio that has continued to evolve and expand predominantly through referrals, many who are now long-term clients. As the studio’s reputation continues to grow, so does our client base and our range of commissions.

Our expertise includes designing contemporary yet timeless and elegant architecture alongside interiors and product design. We provide a complete and holistic design service.
