Bayham Place: Phase 1
A constrained urban site with the site taken up by the building’s footprint. The project involved a change of use conversion from an office building into 15 residential units with a total GIA area of 10,010 sqft. Only the external shell was retained and a complex internal alteration with a new structural layout and new stair core & lift shaft.
The flats were designed to be bright and airy with special attention to lighting. VR technology and CGI renderings were used to define and design the interiors. The client could view the interior design through a VR headset which offered clarity on the expected final design and layout. The scheme resulted in a cluster group of new apartments with a stylish contemporary interior and fitting for the trendy Camden urban lifestyle.
